Valentine’s Day Series – Day 9

By Cards

Hi all,

For day’s card my goal was to keep the card clean and simple using a single mat. I created this card using a stamped image with Stampin’ Up ink and then brought in Distress Ink in fire brick red with an ink blending tool. It’s small in stature but packs a punch!

Here it is:

Inked Heart

Supplies:

Card Base: Neenah Environmental Cardstock – Desert Storm

Paper: NeenahSolar White

Stamp: Making Memories – Love Struck

Inks: Stampin’ Up in Bravo Burgundy and Tim Holtz Distress Ink in  Fire Brick red

White Stitching: Uniball Signo Broad White gel pen

Hi All,

For today’s card I wanted to try using my Martha Stewart Circle Cutter to come up with an embellishment that would be the focal point of the entire card. I found a great sentiment stamp that came with my Simon Says Stamp card kit for January 2013 that worked great for the circle. Here is the finished product.
